HORROR (2001)

En 2001 la editorial estadounidense Greenhaven Press publicó una colección de ensayos titulada simplemente Horror. Un volumen de 208 páginas, editado por Michael Stuprich, profesor de Inglés y Literatura de la universidad Ithaca College, en el que se recopila una serie de textos de crítica sobre la literatura de terror, de distintos autores, tanto expertos en el tema como escritores, entre los que cabe destacar S.T. Joshi, Robert Bloch, Stephen King, Mark Jancovich, Joyce Carol Oates...Entre ellos, cabe destacar tanto el texto de Bloch, H.P. Lovecraft´s life and work (Vida y obra de H.P. Lovecraft), como uno del propio Lovecraft, The appeal of the unknown, un extracto de su recomendable ensayo El horror sobrenatural en la literatura.
