At the gates of that darkest bay
On the bottom of the mossy stairs
Horror secrets sleeps among
The ancient city walls
In the deepest black ocean
Lies dreaming, lies waiting
In eternal sleep
Waiting for the cosmic alienation
That is not dead which can eternal lie,
And with strange aeons even death may die [2x]
Father who lies in blackened seas
Father who sleeps in perpetual lethargy
Come forth out of the seas
Rise from that abysmal deep
Walk thy earth once again
We wait for the old one return
Father who lies in blackened seas
In perpetual lethargy
Father who lies in blackened seas
Father who sleeps in perpetual lethargy
Sacrifice to those who you love
To bring back to the great old one
When the time has come – and the stars in position reveal
The path we must follow
R'lyeh! (Rill-ieh)
Father who lies in blackened seas
Father who sleeps in perpetual lethargy
Wicked spells
Enchants of invocation
Oh Cosmic majesty
Hear out our implora--tion
Come forth out of the seas
Rise from that abysmal deep
Walk thy earth once again
We wait for the old one return
Father who lies in blackened seas
In perpetual lethargy
